7/21/2008 9:45:44 AM The European single currency lost ground against its US and British counterparts in early New York trading on Monday. As of 9:35 am ET, the euro declined to 1.5834 against the US dollar and 0.7942 versus the pound. Traders now look forward the US leading indicators report in the month of June, slated for release at 10:00 am ET.
